A short, plain-language explanation of what personal data we process when you visit our website or write to us, why we do it and what your rights are.
Who processes your data
The controller is Fincore s. r. o., Karpatské námestie 7770/10A, 831 06 Bratislava, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO) 57 556 407, registered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava III Municipal Court, section Sro, file no. 198656/B. For any question about personal data, write to hello@fincore.sk.
What data we process
- When you write to us via the form or by email: your name, email address, company name if given, and the content of your message.
- When you visit the website: our hosting provider’s server automatically records technical data, mainly your IP address, time of visit and browser type (server logs).
- Spam protection: the form briefly stores an encrypted fingerprint of the sender’s IP address to limit the number of messages from one address.
Why and on what legal basis
- Replying to your request and preparing an offer — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); if you write on behalf of a company, our legitimate interest in communicating with business partners (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Website security and operation, spam protection — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not need your consent to reply to your request. We do not use your data for marketing and we never sell it.
How long we keep your data
- Requests that do not lead to a collaboration: 12 months from our last communication, then we delete them.
- If we start working together, we keep the data for the duration of the contract and then as long as the law requires (e.g. accounting records for 10 years).
- IP fingerprint for spam protection: only briefly, to limit the number of messages per hour.
- Server logs are kept by the hosting provider only as long as necessary for operating and securing the website.
Who has access to your data
Only our team has access to your data. We are supported by processors who handle data solely on our instructions: our web hosting and email provider WebSupport s.r.o. (Slovakia), whose servers run the website, the contact form and our mailbox. We do not share your data with any other third parties unless required by law.
Cookies and third-party services
The website does not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising, so we do not ask for cookie consent. Fonts and all other website files load from our own server — visiting the site does not send your data to Google or any other third party.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and obtain a copy,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data erased,
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Just write to hello@fincore.sk — we will reply within the period set by the GDPR. If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Slovak Office for Personal Data Protection, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava (dataprotection.gov.sk).
Other information
Providing your data is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply to you. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling. We do not transfer data to countries outside the European Union.
